“It is an unreleased song of a further trilogy to come with a new project called Les Fastes, and that will be released on Distant Voices label.
It is about breathing in a night that do not offer us the rest we need..an unconscious link.
What i can say, is that i am a soldier of this war against racism and oppression of any kind.
My grand mother was the grand-daughter of a slave, a woman sold for working in the french white colony La Reunion.
We only know that they called her Jeanne. All the female slaves was called Jeanne but it was obviously not her real name.
And my second name is Marie-Jeanne..
My grand-grand father came from India to La Reunion and became an institutional slave.
They lied to him telling him he will have freedom and work .
We do not know where he came, we only have a first name. French colonist change our real last name because it was to difficult to pronounce.
So I do not really know where is my mother land.I do not know where in Africa, where in India i could find my ancestors..
I am Indian, i am African, i have slavery blood and it is a curse.
All of this shit is a curse and it have to end “
